These Terms govern your participation in the Global Craic 10K, hosted at craic.run.
By registering for the event, you agree to the following:

1. Event Participation

  • The Global Craic 10K is a virtual participation event, not a competitive race.
  • Participants run or walk 10 kilometres during the event window between 14–22 March 2026 at a location of their choosing.
  • You are responsible for choosing a safe route and taking appropriate precautions.
  • Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

2. Submission Rules

  • Participants may submit their completed run via their account on craic.run.
  • Proof of distance (e.g. app screenshot or photo) may be uploaded, but is optional.
  • Participants may choose to self-certify their completion instead.
  • The event is built on trust and good faith participation.

There are no rankings, prizes, or public results associated with this event.

3. PaymentsThe Global Craic 10K does not operate a public leaderboard.
Your personal information, including:

  • Entry to the Global Craic 10K costs $9.99.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • Payment details are not stored by Aisling Events or Options Technology.
  • All entries are non-refundable.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • Your account is for personal use only.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • Misuse of the platform (including false submissions or abusive behaviour) may result in removal from the event.
  • No third parties receive your data for advertising or marketing.

5. Certificates

  • Participants who complete the event may download an official Global Craic 10K participation certificate.
  • Certificates are issued as a personal record of participation and support for the event’s charity partner.
  • Certificates have no competitive, ranking, or time-based value.

6. Liability & Responsibility

By taking part, you acknowledge that:

  • You participate at your own risk.
  • You are physically capable of completing a 10K run or walk.
  • You will follow local laws and safety guidelines.
  • Aisling Events and Options Technology are not responsible for accidents, injuries, losses, or external technical issues beyond their reasonable control.

7. Data Protection

  • Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR regulations.
  • We only collect and process data necessary to operate the event and provide participant services.

8. Changes to the Event

  • Aisling Events reserves the right to amend event details if necessary.
  • Any material changes will be communicated via craic.run.
